  • When pricing for your interior design proposal, any specific requirements for bespoke joinery or built in cabinetry will be discussed with you during the survey.

Our prices start from £250 + VAT for a set of working drawings to be completed. These elevation drawings are used to calculate labour and materials for your bespoke cabinetry so that our joiner can quote more accurately.

Whilst working on the design, material options will be ordered so that you are able to see what these look like within the intended design scheme. These might be a sample door, a laminate of the internal cabinet colour or texture or a sprayed veneer sample. These will be laid out alongside your paint sample cards, window treatment fabrics, wallpaper and any floor or tile options. Seeing these as a complete material moodboard really helps to visualise the space.

During the design presentation, the drawings and final price for joinery will be included in the overall costs allocated within your budget. This gives you the opportunity to see how the more bespoke elements sit within your project costs before finalising your decisions for everything else required within your procurement and purchasing pack.

  • Once your interior design scheme has been signed off, the next phase is project management. During the 6-8 weeks to follow is your procurement phase where all materials are ordered and all sub contractors are booked in on your job.

Both of our in house joiners have been working as a joiner since they were 17. With over 65 years of experience combined they make an excellent team. They are our most trusted sub contractors and are often involved in your project from rip out to finishing touches.

Not only are they highly skilled, but they are also lovely people, with nearly all of my clients complimenting us on how much they have enjoyed their company.

  • Production of bespoke cabinetry can take between 6-12 weeks depending on the complexity of your design.

For simple joinery tasks such as hanging of internal doors, skirting, architraves, fitting Wall Mouldings or  Acoustic Wood Panelling this can usually be booked in from 6 weeks of signing off on the final room design. This leaves 2-4 weeks for materials to be ordered and contractors organised and booked in.

For more complex joinery tasks such as kitchen installations, media walls, bespoke furniture, home bars. built in wardrobes or shelves we always allow 10-12 weeks. For these larger jobs we use two different cabinet manufacturers in Nottingham, as these types of jobs require specialist machinery and equipment to cut, sand, stain, lacquer and spray the wood to the finish you require.

Once the price has been agreed, we usually carry out 2 more site surveys:

    • survey prior to first fix

    • survey once plastering has been complete

Production will only begin once the second survey has been completed so that the workshop has a complete set of drawings to manufacture from.

  • Once the second survey has been finalised production time is usually an additional 6-8 weeks depending on the size and scale of your job.
