Working with a 13 year old client, was a first for me with a bathroom design. It was important to the homeowners that their daughter could choose what she wanted for her bathroom, and that it be mature enough to future proof it for years to come. 

As a new build, I was lucky enough to be managing this project on site as the whole house was being built and so had a small influence on the final second fix positioning. This ensured that the basin, bath and radiator were in a good position prior to the room being tiled. 

As a young dancer, with a love for white and grey, the design for the bathroom has a colour twist with a pop of pink. Used sparingly, but with impact I had a round concrete sink designed to suit the proportions of the vanity unit and it was coloured with a pink tint. In the niche above the bath, we also used a pink hexagon mosaic and fitted a LED strip light into the niche for drama. To add warmth and texture to the space I specified a warm walnut vanity unit and added a grey geometric tile behind the mirror to create a focal point.
